MARLENE JOAN HUGHESMAN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marlene Hughesman. Marlene was born September 5, 1936, and passed away peacefully on April 21, 2015 in Sidney, BC. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and dog Robbie. Marlene was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Jack, and is survived by her daughter Corinne, grandson PJ, and son John. Marlene grew up in Winnipeg and moved to Victoria with Jack and John in 1986 in support of Jack's career, and to leave behind the cold winters of Winnipeg. She enjoyed the mild weather in Victoria and was an avid gardener and reader. At Marlene's request there will be a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, a donation to BC SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
